No, I'm not saying I support legislation for this stuff. The problem is that, now that we've mandated healthcare for everyone, it's really only a small jump to mandating healthier lifestyles for everyone. It's even rational: preventive care is cheaper and more effective than treatment. But that's not what they're going to focus on, and it's not really going to work out that way.


I have a better solution. Anyone with a family history of certain ailments or genetically predisposed should be sterilized. Right at birth. If you want to cut costs.

And now that these citizens won't need to take care of any children they can contribute more to the state by way of taxes.
