Very good idea these release notes [1]. In a perfect world it should be even more detailed a bit like What's new in Python x.x notes.

Maybe by giving the gist of an RFC through an example or an high-level description before linking to it, because there are some RFCs a bit overwhelming I think, more theoritical than illustrated with examples.
