Poll: (UK) Freelancers - how do you find your next contract?

(Inspired by another poll just released on HN) - I was at a Brennan Dunn / Nathan Berry workshop recently and asked who found their work through recruiters and who had other means like personal contacts. I was surprised by how many people in USA did not use recruiters - so I wanted to get a larger sample - who here (in London / Uk) finds contracts mostly through recruitment agencies ?

Thank you !

In the UK, the recruitment agents run the IT tech recruitment industry. Very rarely do companies take on the process themselves (I mean proportionately it's quite low).

In the US, it's reverse.
