(Granted, some of the "help, I'm being censored" crowd really seem to be more about "help, people aren't paying sufficient attention to me"... I remember there was significant outrage on Twitter when someone made an extension available to mass-block the blueticks; mass-blocking is actually a thing on Twitter as well, just not a first-party feature.)
