Emojis are Unicode, not ASCII (I think, not an expert myself).
We should also be able to use arrows ⇒, the trademark symbol ™, whatever this is ∴, or maybe this ℜ.
But we can test it, maybe HN supports Unicode Emojis but nobody is using them...
EDIT: I was listing some Unicode Emojis here, but you were correct, they were removed after posting. At least the ASCII symbols show up :)
