I'm enjoying dinit in artix. I think Artix is not terribly mainstream but the dinit part of it seems easy to deal with so far. It would be interesting to see it get polished in a different distro.
Living without systemd is sometimes a rough choice at the moment but I think it can be polished.
Take a look at Chimera Linux - https://chimera-linux.org/ . It's a desktop-focused distribution that uses dinit. It'll be one to watch once it stabilizes.
