I'll tell you exactly what it means:
It means that the software's own vendor is so uncertain of the actual value of what the product does that they've decided to promote how it does what it does - in other words, implementation details - instead.
Sadly, there's a whole new crop of students being sold this hype. Eventually the money is going to dry up for this line of work IMO, and their going to find themselves behind the curve.
