Wouldn't this be somewhat subject to polygraph syndrome? I.e. if I am being monitored my stress levels will be artificially higher as I am nervous about the monitoring.

The article is brief on details and I didn't follow any links for further study. They seem confident in their findings though so I'm sure they know better than I.
