Really nice app I got good results. Can I ask you a question : How are you doing to get website traffic for competitors ?

"Using data from Alexa, we're able to compare estimated website traffic for each company" from their blog https://rivalseek.com/blog/2015/07/01/dollar-shave-club-comp...

Thank you. Is this data free ? How reliable you think it is ?

Great app ! Maybe you can add on the top of the list the number of results like in every search query ... so the user can estimate how much time he is going to scroll down...

I think the peak is happening because it's a lot more expensive to own a car and people prefer to share or borrow one when they really need it.

For instance parking ticket has skyrocket by 300% this year in paris, fr ! You don't want to have a car parked there ...

People in North Africa have been doing this for a while now.

When I was kid we had a congressman where I lived in Morocco who win a election with a strategy similar to a quadratic voting. His team went to the poorest neighborhoods of the district and they distribute half (literally half the bill) of today equivalent of 20$ and you get the rest after the election, it had cost him roughly around 100k$ and he won. From the power he got he had made a lot more and been able to invest again in his own district and get two more districts for his son and brother in law in the next election... this is a bad idea at least for the poor.

The point is you need an independent third party to establish a fair market value for the votes otherwise the poor will be ripped of...

as soon as the other players on the market will be doing it this turn to a zero sum game the money is already been made we can all walk now

This guy is killing the startup dream. What about changing the world ? If Google had listen to him we will be stuck right now with altavista... I am not seeing any facts about this ... Is there any evidence that startups which are less disruptive are more successfull ?

The underwriter take a huge risk in the deal, underwriting means that he sometimes needs to buy the shares from the company (i.e. Twitter here) and Twitter will not need to care if the underwriter get reed off the shares on the market because he got paid first this is a huge risk .

A second point is that the underwriter is paid to keep the shares liquid on the market at least for the first 30 days depending on the contract deal. It means that the underwirter will need to put himself on the buying side or the selling side everytime someone want to buy/sell his shares ... this is a huge risk again just look at the volume of the share deals everyday on the market to see what kind of liquidity the underwriter need to keep ready to play ... I agree with you that this don't create value for the economy out there but it is necessary to keep the wheel rolling ...
