Awesome. Please join our community on Slack too

This is a cool app, although a CLI seems like a better interface than a macOS app, unless, of course, you plan to have a richer UI later.

Great to hear it’s providing value!

Thanks for the feedback .

We open sourced because we noticed lots of teams reinventing the wheel by building this themselves.

Hey HN! We're releasing Uffizzi open source.

Uffizzi is a tool that lets you preview pull requests before merging. Create on-demand Preview Environments for APIs, frontends, backends, databases, and microservices. Each Preview Environment gets a secure HTTPS URL that is continually refreshed when you push new commits. Uffizzi also handles clean up, so your environments last only as long as you need them.

Uffizzi is an open-source, off-the-shelf, cross-platform solution that works with any version control system, container registry, or CI platform.

I see Uffizzi could fit perfectly on any of our projects workflow, worth to invest some time to set everything in place, to save later on the road time and headaches using on demand previews

Absolutely. A small time investment upfront (~1 hr) yields big dividends for development velocity and code quality.

Netlify doesn’t support sever-side languages and frameworks, like Node, so not exactly.

Second this

You should checkout Uffizzi.com. It’s built on GCP

Like Heroku, but way less

Ah, now I understand "bury" Kubernetes. I like this idea and agree on expertise. I want to use Kubernetes but I'm a developer, not a DevOps engineer. I also like Docker :)

AppOps is for developers on Kubernetes, so you can own your code full life cycle. DevOps now builds and maintains the shared pieces (logmon i.e.) and supports developers.
