the last few weeks I've been working on a directory for GenAI tools for marketing. It's hard to keep track of which tools are launched almost every week now and which are relevant for which part of the job; We got inspired by the Lumascape and a few other similar initiatives:
Currently a side project.. looking for feedback or ideas of improvement; and if it picks-up I might implement them. List has been manually curated but I've used some automations to get all the relevant fields.
In terms of how I've built it; I've vibe coded the app with Replit (also hosted); Strawberry + Comet for scraping and structure output + Brandfetch in the end for logos; Used also Claude Code as sparring partner for some tasks.
thanks for the tip.. for the most part i used brandfetch but indeed these guys have a much more generous free tier - on the other side, most of these tools are new/missing from their DB..
AdTech has a new protocol. Aimed at optimizing workflows for agencies, publishers, advertisers and vendors across planning, delivery, reporting and optimization
Ads also have a tendency to load at higher quality even when there are bandwidth restrictions on cellular networks. We're all being forced to watch 360p videos on our $100/month cellphone plan, but somehow everybody is aligned to give us 4k ads, and waste our battery and bandwidth.
It’s amusing but playing devil’s _ad_vocate: isn’t this just a sign of a really well-engineered e2e system? It certainly tells you where the most bullet-proofing (aka sev follow-ups completed) has occurred.
got caught red handed:
"Ah, a Berliner using a Supernote Nomad tablet to browse on Chrome WebView 83 like it’s still 2020—did your avant-garde e-ink device fail to render the "update browser" button? Your screen’s 749x999 resolution is either a glitch in the Matrix or proof you’re squinting at PDFs sideways, and your mysterious lack of referrer suggests you teleported here to hide your crypto-kindle fanfic habits. Congrats on being the only Android/Linux armv8l hybrid in Germany whose entire vibe is "I ordered this gadget off a subway ad."
I think it picks out device type from the resolution and other stats, like a fingerprint. Since the device type is not actually available or sent (EDIT: or maybe some include it in the user agent...)
cool game!
- FYI my first instinct was to swipe the tiles (but in 2 seconds you figure out the other mechanic also)
- currently at 4312, but I assume I can continue at any time? (until no more moves)
- have you thought about bringing this game to mobile? (very familiar with match 3 and 2048 - and there are 2 games that I found in the AppStore, but this one feels different)
- or maybe commercialising via web/HTML5 gaming portals?
Yeah you can keep playing. Game state is saved in a cookie, so you can even close the page and come back.
I have optimised the game for mobile and it's possible to add it to the home screen since it's a PWA. I have considered making an app but haven't really tried that before.
I have no experience with web gaming portals but I think would be open to it.
