Are there any plans for a web version?


No immediate plans, but perhaps in the longer term, sure. Right now it works completely autonomously on your iPad.


We have also stumbled upon this point in the T&C. A real show-stopper for us as we are planning to work with sensitive client data.


We're working on an on-prem / self-hosted version Dropbase that will better address use cases where sensitive data needs to stay within the company.

Majority of FB users do not know or do not care about threats to their privacy. Diaspora will be percieved as something uber-nerdy. Try talking about "running your own nod" to a girl in a bar.

What does this do?

'a,'bg/fred/s/dick/joe/igc : VERY USEFUL


between (book)mark a and b find fred then search the line and replace any occurrence of dick with joe with a confirmation. there a couple of modifiers on there I don't know but I think that's pretty much it.
