This website is quite GPU intensive when scrolling.

It looks like that's just a generic error message. For me, this websocket message is received when the error appears:

    {"error":true,"body":"Your credit balance is too low to access the Anthropic API. Please go to Plans & Billing to upgrade or purchase credits.","done":false,"id":"XXXXXXXX","type":"cf_agent_use_chat_response"}

The error message should point that it's the server, not the user problem.

Turn off System Settings -> Desktop & Dock -> Windows -> "Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen"

I wonder if the temporal noise reduction (evident in the video clips) is being applied before integrating the frames to create the thumbnails.

I believe the speed also depends on how many activated dots there are per line in the image, as thermal print heads often have a limit to the number of elements that can be activated at once.

This is awesome! It would be great if there were more sound clips — maybe someone could make an app that lets anyone capture and upload GPS-tagged recordings. Moderation could be an issue though.

freesound.org is the perfect place to upload these. i'm using their api to scan new sounds that are geotagged and put them on the map
